Does everyone need the app?
No. One person scans the receipt and assigns the items. Everyone else can receive the shared text without installing anything or creating an account.
Can I use it without an account?
Yes. People, drafts, and bill history are stored on your device. There’s no required sign-in and no automatic cross-device sync or cloud backup.
What if the scan or voice assignment gets something wrong?
AI can make mistakes. Check the receipt total, item prices, names, and assignments before sharing. You can correct the values and assign items manually.
How are service charges, tax, and discounts split?
For scanned receipts, the app shares the printed final total in proportion to each person’s assigned item amounts. Charges and discounts already included in that total are not applied again. Check that the final total matches your receipt.
Does it work offline?
Saved records and calculations are local. Receipt scanning and voice interpretation use Google AI and need an internet connection. Local storage does not mean offline AI.
Does the app make payments?
3lya kam works out and shares the amounts. You choose how to pay outside the app. It does not transfer money or verify whether anyone has paid.
