1. Using 3lya kam

3lya kam helps you read receipts, assign items to people, calculate each person’s share and share the result.

2. AI assistance and your split

Receipt scanning and voice assignment use Google AI and require an internet connection.

AI can misread a receipt or misunderstand a recording. Review the items, amounts, charges and assignments before sharing. You can edit the information and correct assignments in the app.

The app calculates the split from the information entered and the assignments applied.

3. Your content

Your receipts, recordings and bill information remain yours. You allow us and our service providers to process the information needed to deliver the features you choose, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Only submit information you have permission to use. Let other people know before recording them or sharing their personal details.

4. Responsible use

Use the app lawfully. Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, bypass its protections or misuse the AI features.

The app’s software, design and branding belong to the 3lya kam team or their respective owners. These terms allow you to use the app for its intended purpose.

5. Daily limits

To keep 3lya kam available for everyone, the app may cap how many receipts you can scan and how many voice requests you can make each day. We may adjust these caps over time.

Trying to get around these caps, overload the service or bypass its security may lead to your access being limited, temporarily or permanently.

6. Payments and saved records

3lya kam calculates and shares amounts. It does not transfer money or verify payments. A shared split is a record of the calculation, not confirmation that someone has paid.

Your history is stored locally. Deleting app data, uninstalling the app or losing your device may remove your records. Keep separate copies of information you need.

7. Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the app useful and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free results. Features may change, and AI services may occasionally be unavailable.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

8. Changes and contact

You can stop using the app at any time. We may update these terms and will explain material changes before they take effect.

These terms are governed by Egyptian law, while preserving any mandatory protections that apply where you live.
